In the designs of head designer Marie Michielssen, craftsmanship and handwork are always at the forefront. This is especially true in this new collection. Sophia consists of vases that are intuitively deformed by the artisan, thereby breaking the symmetry. Each vase is also hand-painted in an equally spontaneous manner. The illustrations refer to Eastern calligraphy, where inspiration in the moment plays an important role. Due to the handcraft and the beautiful imperfections that come with it, each vase is a unique piece.
